Welcome to the homepage of Bucheon City, a city
of cartoons, animations (PISAF), films (Pifan), and music
( Pucheon Philharmonic Orchestra).
Bucheon City has grown to be a central industrial city in
the Gyeongin Region based on both a portal city to the Incheon
International Airport and the convenient traffic conditions
in all the directions and the abundant personnel resources
of South Korea. And it has transformed its shapes to be a
best city of cultures, trees, flowers and water confronting
with the 21st century as well.
Based on the cultural projects and industrial know-how accumulated
up to now, we have placed our goals to be a best city of advanced
cultures and industries and worldwide cultural tourism that
commercializes cultural values into economic values.

We will develop the festival of cartoons into
character industry, animations into game and robot industry
respectively. And we are accumulating the experiences on cultural
and tourist resources including film festivals, theme parks
(Ains World and Natural Ecological Park), music and festivals
as well.

BRIC was established with the object of promoting
the urban informationization of Bucheon, and at contributing
to the welfare of residents. Likewise, it aims at
fostering home informationization and industrial informationization
of the municipality, as well as aims at fortifying
local competitiveness and contributing to national
prosperity.
BRIC is a professional agency of local informationization,
and is currently concentrating upon constructing information
city, Bucheon.
It is carrying out various projects, such as constructing
information infrastructure, on-line information service,
etc., in order to strengthen the informatic level
of Bucheon.
Bucheon, an information city composed of human, technology
